Franchise or your own? Let's talk money.
So you're thinking about getting into game trucks. Smart move. The first fork in the road: buy a franchise, or own your own? Grab a coffee. Here's the stuff that isn't in the brochure.

The bill that never stops
A franchise takes a royalty: a slice of every booking, for as long as your contract runs. For every $100 you book, GameTruck takes $7 to $8, Soccer Shots takes $7, and Pump It Up takes $6 plus $2 for its brand fund. Own your trailer and that slice stays in your pocket.

Our honest take
Years ago, a franchise name opened doors. Today your customers find you on Google, on Facebook, and by seeing your trailer at a party down the street. For most first-time owners, a franchise is a really expensive way to rent a name. If you want their playbook and their logo on the side, that's what the money buys. Just do the math first.
